Educating Spokane: Spokane Public Library

On the evening of Tuesday, November 26, Warren Seyler, former Chairman of the Spokane Tribe, will present on the history of the Spokane Tribe of Indians, the tribe that is our city’s namesake and whose historic homelands include the present location of the City of Spokane and Spokane Valley.

Former Chairman of the Spokane Tribe, Warren Seyler, will give an oral presentation of 250 years of Plateau history, following the footsteps of Spokan tribal people as they encountered traders, missionaries, soldiers, and others arriving from distant lands.

Holistic Native is partnering with Spokane Public Library and the Spokane Tribe to bring this presentation to Spokane Public Library as a part of their celebration of Native American Heritage Month.
